Two people die as tram derails in Prague.

Yes, it's getting warmer here, but somehow it feels one of those terrible, terrible days. Maybe it's because the IRS tax deadline is less than a month away, maybe it's the overcast sky. Or maybe it's that link up above.

It was the talk of all Prague. From what I understand, the second car of an early-morning 22 tram went careening off the tracks for no apparent reason, as the driver turned the corner at Karlovo nám?stí to head up toward Tesco-Národní. (The 22, as I'm sure you know if you've ever visted Prague, is probably the most used line in the entire city. Why, there it goes now, right past my bedroom window.) Two people, who were probably standing on that traffic island where Resslova meets the square, were killed dead.
