If somebody says they're staying in a village in Calabria at the far end of the Italian peninsula, you might be tempted to think.... quiet, peaceful. But then, you'd be forgetting that the village is filled with Italians. I swear, it's like building a house right in the middle of the living room of a family with nine kids. Horns honking, scooters zooming up and down the alley... and it sure seems like they're yelling at each other, but actually they're just talking.
